We have reached one of my favourite parts of the day! Oh Yes! It is release news time and today’s features a new film and a hit TV show that will make you all want to spend a weekend in this summer! 

I thought we would start with the TV show, because this news is very exciting and sees some famous faces return to your TV screens, as ‘House of Cards Season Three’ will be out digitally from the 27th June and on DVD and Blu-ray from the 29th June. 

Starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, many of you will know what the show is about, but in case you don’t, the new season features 13 episodes following the most powerful couple in the world as they take over the White House and defend everything they believe in. 

This new release not only features the episodes though lovelies, as it is jammed packed with special features, including collectible packaging, featurettes, behind-the-scenes looks at the show and a special twist to the show. 


Now for the horror film that will be keeping you up this summer, as Kornel Mundruczo’s film ‘White God’ will be out on DVD from the 3rd August! 

The film features the government changing the law making pedigree dogs the favourable animals and placing a tax on mixed breed animals, causing owners to leave them out on the streets and shelters becoming full of the animals. 

However for 13-year-old Lili, her pet Hagen must be saved, until her father forces the dog out onto the street. After spending hours searching for him, Lili decides to give up hope and Hagen loses faith in his owner finding him as he is taken to the pound. A place where the animals are plotting to take over humanity and get revenge, that Lili will be the only one able to stop.
