Hey Lovelies,

I don’t know if it is a good thing or not, but I am currently watching ‘The Walking Dead’ at 11am! I couldn’t find anything else to watch so stuck this on, but I am a little concerned why I chose this aha!

To lighten the mood a bit, I have just heard the line-up of guests who are going to be attending this year’s Sky Arts Awards Ceremony at the Savoy Hotel on the 7th June lovelies, and I thought you might all like to know.

From the world of Dance, Opera, Literature, Pop, Film, Visual Art, Comedy, TV Drama, Theatre and Classical, the stars are coming out to celebrate the arts and those who are include Rob Brydon, Steve Coogan, Emily Mortimer, Ophelia Lovibond, Emilia Fox, Richard E Grant, Christopher Eccleston, Jessica Hynes, Sara Pascoe, Mark Strong, Rupert Goold, Anna Netrebko, Nitin Sawhney, Maxim Vengerov, Tasmin Little,  Grayson Perry, Gavin Turk, Don McCullin, Sylvie Guillem, Akram Kahn, Matthew Bourne and Tamara Rojo, plus many more.

Speaking about the ceremony, David Nicholls, whose novel Us is nominated for the literature prize commented: “I grew up watching The South Bank Show on a Sunday night, so it’s a particular honour to find myself amongst such an eclectic array of talent from all corners of the Arts world”

As well as, Emily Mortimer who added: “The South Bank Awards were always the coolest and classiest. To be nominated alongside such talented people from all areas of the Arts, is thrilling. We are very flattered and can't believe our luck.”

Many of the guests above lovelies have been nominated for their work; however more stars will join the host Melvyn Bragg to present on the night, and to give out the two top awards, as well as performers who are yet to be named.

It is going to be a star studded night lovelies!
