I was just thinking that we haven’t had a lot of release news recently, and to make up for it I thought the best thing to be would be to celebrate the upcoming cinematic release from Aardman and Studiocanal! 

The pair are teaming up to help create Nick Park’s new film ‘Early Man’, the second film they will have made together after ‘Shaun the Sheep’, which will allow audiences to explore a prehistoric world, with some fun new characters! 

Set during a prehistoric world, the film will see dinosaurs and woolly mammoths walking the earth again and will follow a caveman, as he reunites with his tribe and decides to fight off the evil in their town once and for all. 

Hoping to begin to collect sales at Cannes Film Festival, the film will be distributed in five territories and the BFI have agreed to be a partner with the film. 

Speaking about the film, Nick Park said: “I’m very excited to be making this film with such great partners – STUDIOCANAL and BFI.  And with the support of the incredible team at Aardman – bringing this inept bunch of cavemen to life is going to be a hilarious adventure!"

Adding to this, Olivier Courson said: “I’m thrilled to partner again with the Aardman team.  All of us at Studiocanal are such fans of everything that Aardman does.  After the great experience together on Shaun the Sheep the Movie, we could not be happier than to be able to work on a Nick Park film with Aardman.”
