Before I crack on with the very exciting #FilmFriday release news, I have just seen a bit of TV news that will make all of you very excited, as Sky and NOW TV have announced the release dates for two big features that are coming to the service! 

From the 22nd June, you lovelies will be able to watch two new US shows that have left an impact at the same time as they are aired in the US, as ‘True Detective’ returns for a second season and the brand new season ‘The Brink’ comes to our shores. 

In the brand new season of ‘True Detective’, the show follows three police officers and a criminal, as they true to work out a murder case. With a brand new cast including Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch and Kelly Reilly, it is surely going to be just as epic as the first one lovelies. 

And new show ‘The Brink’ is a dark comedy starring Jack Black, Tim Robbins and Pablo Schreiber, who play three desperate men who literally have the fate of the world on their shoulders, as they must protect the country from a rogue general who has taken over Pakistan and gained control of the nuclear weapons. 

Travelling across the country and world, they must survive the chaos of the situation and prevent World War Three from beginning.
