Hello Lovelies, 

So this is a huge piece of news to start the week with and I am very excited to share it with you all. This morning the BAFTAs announced the jury members for the BAFTA Breakthrough Brit Awards. 

The awards ceremony is celebrating the best new talent in film, TV and games industries in the last 12 months, alongside legendary British brand Burberry, who will be hosting the awards show at their flagship store on Regent Street on the 27th October. 

For the second year the pair are coming together along with Olivia Coleman, Jack O'Connell, Richard Ayoade, Hilary Bevan Jones, Ronan Bennett, Barbara Broccoli OBE, Charles Cecil MBE, Molly Dineen, Anne Dudley, Nina Kristensen, Polly Leys, Mike Newell, Georg Backer, James Dean, Tim Corrie, Ula Pontikos, Lee Schuneman and Piers Wenger to decide on the most deserving winners! 

Speaking out about the jury selection and event, John Willis, Deputy Chairman of BAFTA stated, “The standard of the candidates across film, television and games has been even higher in this second year, as more potential applicants have understood the value of being a Breakthrough Brit. We look forward to revealing the names of this year’s honourees in October, and supporting them over the coming year as their careers develop. Some of our inaugural Breakthrough Brits have already gone on to become BAFTA winners, so the sky really is the limit.”
