TWO NEW FILMS FROM PECCADILLO PICTURES...

20:41:00

Hey Lovelies,

So these two new films were a bit unexpected but as always I am happy to tell you all about new films that are coming out and today's are from Peccadillo Pictures!

The first film that the company are proud to announce, was one that I knew about from the UK Jewish Film Festival and I think I mentioned it back when I was covering it last year.

'Cupcakes' tells the story of a group of friends in Tel Aviv, who gather every year to watch Universong, a bit like Eurovision, and find themselves being let down by the Israeli representative. The group believe that they can do a much better job and record their own song for the competition on a mobile phone.

However they are a little shocked when the song is heard by the Universong judges and are soon faced with being the official entry in the competition. Soon with their celebrity status the group embark on the road to stardom, with a few bumps and funny moments along the way.

The film is directed by Eytan Fox and features music by Babydaddy from Scissor Sisters. If this is something you may be interested in then look out for the film in your local cinema from the 25th April or on DVD and demand from the 12th May.

And now for the next film which the company are happy to announce has been selected for the BFI Flare is 'G.B.F'

Starring Tanner and Brent, two best friends! Brent longs to be a star and hopes that in coming out to the school, he will become popular as he will be the first G.B.F (Gay Best Friend) for the girls who attend. Tanner however would rather stay quiet and unnoticed, but things don't go according to plan.

Tanner is outed instead of Brent, causing the two friends to become enemies. Now the three most popular girls in school, Fawcett, Caprice and 'Shley are launching a way in the hopes to win over Tanner's friendship.

The film stars Andrea Bowen, Megan Mullally, Natasha Lyonne and Evanna Lynch, in the 90s inspired film of the century. It will be out in cinemas from the 21st March and on DVD and Blu-Ray from the 14th April.

Now as always here is the trailer for 'G.B.F'...
